EquiTakt
Your horse's tempo, out loud.
Put your phone in a pocket and ride. Within about fifteen seconds EquiTakt has measured your horse's walk, trot or canter, and starts sounding that tempo.
Then it holds it.
That last part is the whole idea. EquiTakt doesn't follow your horse around. It finds the tempo your horse is working in and keeps it steady, so you have something to ride to rather than something that chases you. When the rhythm slips, you hear it — and that noticing is the point.
What it does
- Measures walk, trot and canter from your pocket. No sensors, no straps.
- Sounds the tempo, with a different pattern for each gait.
- Remembers each horse, so tomorrow it starts on their number.
- Lets you take over — nudge the tempo and ride to that instead.
- Shows the gait and tempo on Apple Watch, with start and stop on your wrist.
